PoSAS was designed to assist clinicians with identifying patients with positional obstructive sleep apnea (POSA), monitor oral appliance therapy outcomes, and conduct pre-operative OSA screening. The PoSAS efficacy report provides the calculations and synthesizes the results into four key sleep metrics that enable personalization of non-PAP therapy by identifying which patients would benefit from oral appliance, positional therapy, or the combination of both. Features -------- Automated scoring and calculation of: * Positional oxygen desaturation index (ODI) applying both 3% and 4% desaturation criteria * Actigraphy-based sleep time, sleep efficiency, wake after sleep onset (WASO), and awakenings per hour * Autonomic activation index based on changes in pulse rate * Overall, supine, and non-supine percent time snoring Personalize OSA Therapy Using 3-Night PoSAS Study Identify Responder Phenotype Using Four Metrics and Two Criteria Clinical Evidence ================= Featured Article A comparison between auto-scored apnea-hypopnea index and oxygen desaturation index in the characterization of positional obstructive sleep apnea.
